Stand-up comedians can now apply for grants from Steel City AF!

Before you apply, make sure you read the eligibility rules for each grant. You will be expected to be a positive member of the community, which includes conducting yourself professionally and with respect to people regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, or identity. There will be a code of conduct to which each recipient must adhere.

There will be no cost to you to receive these grants, but all grant recipients will be expected to create! You will own 100% of what you create, but no one receives a grant to sit on a couch and pass time. Recipients are chosen for their talent, their work ethic, and their desire to both learn and mentor.

Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis, so please get yours in ASAP.

There will be multiple rounds of applications. Finalists will be asked to answer a series of longer form questions.

Eligibility

  1. 18+ years of age.
  2. Someone who can legally accept money from a US-based 501(c)3.
  3. At least one year experience as a stand-up comedian.
  4. Having performed stand-up more than 50 times.
  5. The intention to pursue stand-up comedy as your primary career.
