The Mark Shimkets Award

Award Description:

The Mark Shimkets Award is in memory of comedian Mark Shimkets. The award comes with a $1,000 grant, and is given annually to a comedian we feel has done the most to improve their comedy scene. From producing shows to mentoring comedians to everything in between, this award seeks to honor those who grow the art form that Mark loved so dearly.

Our foundation revolves around the following principles, and so should our award recipients:
